Are you up for a challenge?  Commit to reading 1,000 books before your child enters kindergarten! Learning to read is a process that begins long before your child enters school. Our Read to Me! My First Reading Log is a fun way to encourage families to read LOTS of books to their little ones before they enter kindergarten. 1,000 books may seem a bit daunting, but don't let the number deter you.  As you record the books you read, you will see that the list grows quickly and small daily investments pay off in big rewards in the years to come!

1 book a day for 3 years=1,095 books

3 books a day for 1 year=1,095 books

Our log offers tips to enhance your reading and learning experiences, including how to incorporate reading readiness activites into your child's everyday life. When you make reading aloud a daily habit from birth, your child will enter kindergarten ready to read, AND ready to succeed. Although the goal is 1,000 books before your child enters kindergarten, the true reward is the time you and your child spend reading and bonding together.  Enjoy every moment!
